Bargain sale and feoffment from Richard Androwes of Mayfelde [Mayfield] in Sussex gent., Margaret his wife widow of Nicholas Ferrers of Prinstrope [Princethorpe] gent. deceased and Edward Ferrers son and heir of the said Nicholas to Henry Ferrers of Baddisley Clynton esq. of one messuage in Baddisley Clynton with 6 closes and a meadow containing in all about 40 acres, now or late in the occupation of Robert Monke, one tenement and adjacent croft in Bentley Heath in the parish of Solyhulle, now or late in the occupation of John Becke, one tenement or burgage in Solyhulle, now or late in the occupation of Richard Barret in the right of Isabel his wife, 3 meadows in Solyhulle, now or late in the occupation of the said Richard Barret containing 4 acres, one close in Solyhulle, now or late in the occupation of Christiana Pretty widow, together with all other lands, rights or reversions of the said Nicholas Ferrers in Baddesley Clinton and Solyhulle together with the deeds relating to the same. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary services excepting the lease of the said tenement granted to the said Isabel Barret for the term of her life, the said feoffment to be secured by inrollment within 7 years. The said Richard, Margaret and Edward also granted to the said Henry lands held in the right of the said Margaret and the said Edward as her son and heir by copyhold from Edward Aglyonby esq. of his manor of Balsale comprising one messuage, 5 closes and a meadow containing in all about 21 acres, now or late in the occupation of Edward Freeman, one messuage, 4 closes and a meadow containing in all about 14 acres, now or late in the occupation of Roger Prieste, and one messuage, orchard and divers closes containing in all about 28 acres, now or late in the occupation of John Allen, together with other lands and appurtenances held of the said manor. The said Richard, Margaret and Edward appointing Barnabe Holbache of Solyhulle and William Coofelde of Baddesley Clynton yeomen as attorneys to deliver seisin.
