Mortgage from Henry Ferrers of Badgeley Clynton esq. to William Worcester of Draycotte gent. and Thomas Colberne of Sowtham gent. of various closes of land in Badgeley called Great Gilberts, Little Gilberts, Mill field, Gilberts meadow, Gilberts coppice, Great Chetwyns, Rough Chetwyns, Smooth Chetwyns and Greene field. To hold the same for 1,000 years at a pepper corn rent to save the said William and Thomas harmless from two bonds made by the said Henry, William and Thomas, one to Thomas Wheeler of Tanworth yeoman in the penal sum of £160 for £82 8s. and the other to Richard Wheeler of Beoley, co. Worcester yeoman in the penal sum of £100 for £51 10s., both sums to be repaid on the following 23 April. The said mortgage to be void if these sums were paid. 20 October 17 Charles II [1665].
