Description

Memorandum of exchange between Henry Ferrers of Baddesley Clynton esq. and George Ferrers son and heir of the said Henry whereby the said Henry leased to the said George for one year lands in the tenure of William Lucas in Baddesley Clynton called Chetwins valued at £12 per annum, Little Gilberts and Gilberts meadow valued at £7 per annum and Arbour field valued at £6 per annum, and the said George had leased to the said Henry for one year lands called the Mill field adjacent to the Walleis, the Deare meadow, Mill meadow, Milking yard, the Barne field, the Lodge field, the Lime field and the Foure field, reserving the portion in the possession of William Knight and the trees on the said land which the said George reserved the right to cut making reasonable satisfaction for the same. The said Henry also gave £20 to his wife according to an agreement made between the said parties. 7 March 1668/9. Signed: Hen: Ferrers Circular seal of red wax applied. 1/2 in. A shield fretty.
