Bargain sale and feoffment from George Phillips of Studley labourer deceased and heir of George Phillips of Rowington labourer deceased, John Cranmore of Rowington labourer and Mary his wife, widow of the said George Phillips deceased, to Thomas Reynolds of Rowington tailor of a cottage, garden, orchard and appurtenances then in the occupation of the said John Cranmore. To hold the same for ever. Consideration: £6 18s. 6d. paid to the said George Phillips and £7 4s. paid to William Avern of Rowington gent. in repayment of a mortgage upon the said property made by the said George Phillips deceased to the said William Avern. 14 February 1740/1 [Old style 1741].
