Mortgage by way of Lease from George Ferrers of Baddesly Clynton esq. to John Flamsteed of Little Hallam, co. Derby gent. of several farms in the separate tenures of William Knight, Robert Richardson, Richard Burd, Edward Beesley, Thomas Patchstone, Joseph Miles, Thomas Beck and John Sandalls, two closes called Great Wallis and the Mill field in the tenure of Mathew Mason and three closes near Roxall pool in the tenure of Robert Shakespere, all which lands were in Baddesly Clynton, Kingswood, Packwood, Knoll, Rowington and Lapworth. To hold the same for 21 years at a peppercorn rent. Consideration: £1,200 at 6% owed by the said George to the said John. 28 January 1673/4.
