Counterpart of lease from Antony Mayne of Linton in Kent esq. to Henry Ferrers of Baddesley Clinton esq. of a capital messuage in Halden [High Halden] in Kent and all messuages, lands, rights and appurtenances belonging to the same, also the park and all the lands of the said Antony in the parishes of Halden and Bathersden in Kent which the said Antony held by the will of John Mayne his father deceased, or which were formerly in the tenure of John Whitfeeilde of Tenderden [Tenterden] in Kent gent. by demise from the said Antony, or which were in the tenure of the said Henry Ferrers by a lease from the said Antony dated 11 June 20 Elizabeth [1578] for 21 years from 31 August [1578], and three pounds within the said premises formerly reserved for the said John Whitfeeilde and late for the said Henry by the said lease.
