Office copy of the will of James Hiatt of Warwick yeoman whereby he bequeathed all his personal estate at the time of his death to William Smith of Warwick banker's cashier, William Smith of Warwick solicitor's clerk and Henry Crow of Coventry dyer, in trust to sell the same and give an eighth part to the following persons: to his brother John Hiatt, to his brother Thomas Hiatt, to his brother Charles Hiatt, to his sister Ann Crow widow, to his sister Elizabeth the wife of William Hargrave, to his sister Sarah the wife of [ ] Chown, to his niece Sarah Oakley the daughter of his sister Eleanor Parsons deceased, and to all the children equally of his sister Hannah deceased, formerly the wife of Joshua Phillips. The said trustees were also to receive all the real estate of the said James Hiatt subject to the trusts and equities relating to the same, and the said trustees were appointed executors of the said will. 24 May 1848.
