Description
Mortgage from Richard Wright of Rowington mason and Richard Draper of Aston Cantlow yeoman to James Hiatt of Stoneleigh yeoman of a cottage, garden, orchard and appurtenances in Rowington formerly in the successive occupation of Richard Staples, William Eden, William Jordin, Michael Wright and then of Thomas Woodward. Also two other cottages built by the said Richard Wright on the said premises in the occupation of the said Richard Wright and Charles Smitten, which premises were purchased by the said Richard Wright and Richard Draper from the said Michael Wright to be held in trust for the said Richard Wright and his heirs. The said James Hiatt to hold the same to secure repayment of £150 with interest at 5% per annum. 20 April 1850. Signed: the mark of Richard Wright, Richard Draper.
