Description

Gift from Amice de Derley lady of Poweleyhi [Pooley] to Henry de la Quarrere for his homage and service of 2 acres of waste land in Kyngeswood [Kingswood in Lapworth], one acre lying within the land of Roger de la Quarrere, one half acre lying between the land of Thomas de Aula of Tammorth on the one hand and the land of the said Roger on the other, and the other half acre lying between the land of Nicholas son of Hugh de la Quarrere on the one hand and the land of the said Roger on the other. To hold the s ame for ever, with free entry and exit, from the said Amice for the annual rent of 16d. to be paid at the four terms of Lady Day, Midsummer, Michaelmas and St. Andrew in equal portions in lieu of all services except foreign service and two suits of court at the court of the said Amice in Kyngeswood after Easter and Michaelmas.
