Release from John Seynt John knt. of the body of the late King Henry VII and of the present King, Edward Sulyard' esq. and Michael Fyssher gent., feoffees to the use of Margery Godfrey widow deceased and her heirs according to the will of the said Margery, to John Hampden of Hampden knt. of the manor of Fyssherton Anger, co. Wilts., the advowson of the church, 10 messuage 200 acres of land, 40 acres of meadow, 100 acres of pasture and 100 acres of wood with appurtenances in Fyssherton Anger, Grymsted and Dene, co. Wilts. To hold the same to the said John Hampden and his lawful issue or in default to the lawful issue of the said Margery Godfrey lately wife of Thomas Hampden, or in default to the rightful heirs of the said Margery. The said feoffees appointing Henry Husie, John ?Mackes and Roger ?Kolyngleke attorneys to deliver seisin. Sealing clause. Given 4 October 7 Henry VIII [1515]. Signed: Seynt John, Michael Fyssher.
