Description

Counterpart of an agreement made between Richard Floyer alias Flyer of Hints, co. Stafford esq. and Mary Fitzherbert of Hints spinster, one of the daughters, coheirs and executrix of Robert Fitzherbert of Hints gent. deceased, whereby the said Mary gave the said Richard a copy of the deed to declare the uses of a recovery made on 6 February 1649/50 [Old style 1650] between Edward Frith of Thornes [in Stonnall] co. Stafford gent. and William Needham of London gent. of the first part, the said Robert Fitzherbert of the second part, and John Hill of the Fryers in Lichfield esq. and William Kempson of Ardens Graften gent. whereby the said Edward Frith and William Needham were seised on 17 January 1649/50 [Old style 1650] of six messuages and lands in Hints by the said Robert Fitzherbert, and a recovery was suffered of the said property to the use of the said Robert Fitzherbert. The said deed was signed by Robert Fitzherbert, John Hill and William Kempson and witnessed by Randle Terrick, John Cowley, Simon Hill, John Cox, Simon Jasson and Francis Clarke. 29 August 28 Charles II 1676.
