Description

Gift from Robert Sutton of Stafford clerk to Richard Sutton of Stafford younger, brother of the said Robert, of an acre of arable land containing three selions together with a parcel of meadow lying at the end of the said selions and appurtenances in Le Foreyate fields near the town of Stafford in the fee of Marston, the said lands lying between the land of John Reynoldes in the occupation of Henry Hales on the one side the land of the said John Reynoldes in the occupation of Thomas Kenderdyne on the other and extending in length as far as a meadow called Blakebuttes meadow towards the east. To hold the same to the said Richard and his male heirs, or in default to Thomas Sutton, brother of the said Robert, and his male heirs, or in default to the lawful heirs of the said Richard, or in default to the heirs of the said Robert for ever.
