Indenture of lease by Henry Rainsford of Clifford Chamberer, co. Gloucs., esquire to John Hobbins of Clifford, yeoman, Henry Hobbins his son of the same towne, yeoman and Margaret the wife of Henry, in consideration of the surrender of a former lease of the same premises and the payment of £23 by Henry Hobbins, of a messuage and two yardlands situate in Clifford and then in the occupation of John Hobbins, for the term of their natural lives at a yearly rent of 21s.2d, the lessees undertaking to pay certain dues and to perform certain services for the lord of the manor.
