Gift from Edward Ferrers knt. to Thomas Nevile knt., Edward Belknapp knt., Edward Grevell knt., William Shelley gent., Thomas Holt and George Wagstaffe of his share of 3 burgages in Crokye Lane in the city of London and of an annual rent of 26s. 8d. from a tenement called le bell le Cheker lately in the tenure of the rector and wardens of the church of St. Dionysus Bakchurch [S. Dyonis - Backchurch] London, and of the annual rent of 20s. from a tenement and `aleya' within the parish of All Saints next the Walls London, all which property formerly belonged to Thomas Marrow serjeant-at-law. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Sealing clause. Given at London on the eve of St. Andrew the Apostle 10 Henry VIII [29 November 1518].
