Description

A further charge made by the Rt. Hon. Charles Vere Ferrars Townshend, younger son and devisee of the most Hon. George [2nd] marquess Townshend, deceased, to Francis Lawley of Grosvenor Square esq. of £10,000 secured by two insurance policies of £5,000 with the European and British Commercial Life Insurance Companies on the life of the said Charles, upon a mortgage for £20,000 dated 21 August 1822, see DR3/562. Also reciting a mortgage for £5,000 to the Rt. Hon. George John Earl de la Warr dated 22 September 1823 secured by two life insurance policies on the life of the said Charles, a mortgage for £5,000 to Sir Edward Hyde East baronet, John Baillie esq. and George Arbuthnot esq. dated 7 June 1825, secured by an annuity of £980 charged on various lands to be scheduled, a mortgage for £11,400 to Charles Pole esq., John Pearse esq., Felix Calvert Ladbrooke esq. and Brice Pearse esq. dated 2 February 1848 secured by an annuity of £2,176 charged on various lands to be scheduled, and a further charge of £6,477 on this mortgage dated 28 November 1828, secured on an annuity of £1,034 charged on various lands to be scheduled. 15 June 1830.
