Description

Notification by John Smythe of Hopwas [co. Stafford] that Agnes Drake daughter of John Drake of Dunstall [co. Stafford] had quitclaimed to Ralph Bollunhull of Dunstall all the lands and tenements due to pass to her on the death of her father lying in the fee of Wygynton [Wiggington] and Drayton [co. Stafford] which the said Agnes had delivered to the said John Smythe for this purpose. Consideration: 20s. 20 September 12 Edward IV [1472]. Fragment of seal of red wax on tongue.
