Draft indenture of lease by Sir Henry Rainsford of Clifford Chamberer, co. Gloucs., knight to William Barnes of Clifford Chamberer, esquire and John Tallance his servant, of three closes in the parish of Clifford of c. 150 acres known as the further Moore hills, one close of c. 100 acres called Sheep leaz, c. 45 acres called Brownes Leasowe, a meadow of c. 7 acres called Brookemeadow and the meadow near above Clifford Bridge of c. 8 acres called Netherham for a term of 99 years at a yearly rent of £100, and further paying for the residue of the said term after Henry Rainsford, son and heir of Sir Henry and Elianore Bosewell his intended wife, should have given notice in writing to Sir Henry at the Mancion House of the Mannor of Clifford to terminate sojourning or tabling with him, an additional yearly rent of £40, this to be increased to £50 if Sir Henry, after his son's marriage, should publiquelie discharge or forbid him or his wife from so journing with him and they should cease to do so.
