Draft marriage settlement between William Henry Haden, Huddersfield, York, commercial traveller, and Jane Coling, S/A, spinster, whereby various sums of money to which she is entitled viz £500 by promissory note from sister Harriet Coling, dated 19 July 1850; £750 by half share of 3 promissory notes to self and Harriet from Richard Chattaway, S/A, draper, dated 1 August 1847, and £750 in bank were assigned to trustees, John Thomas Coling, Carlton, Beds., farmer and Charles Coling, Cirencester, Glos., yeoman, in trust to pay income to Jane Coling for life, then to said William Henry Haden for life or until remarriage when capital equally between any children at 21 or marriage. If no issue, then if Jane survives husband capital for her benefit absolutely or if she does not survive him, then as she appoints in her will and as if she were unmarried. Provisions for trustees to apply income for maintenance of children if both parents die while they are minors.
