Morgan of Stratford-upon-Avon
Description
Compilation by Paul Morgan, begun in 1946, of records of visits to Stratford, mainly from printed sources, beginning with John Leland's, c.1535. From 1946, most of the entries comprise contemporary newspaper cuttings. Also included is a chronological anlaysis of the entries, c.1535-1904, indicating the inn stayed at (where known) and features of the town commented on.
