Description

Deed Poll dated 1 January 1658/9 (Old style) [1659], under the hand and seal of John Milner, alias Miller, of the parish of St. Clement Danes, co. Middx., tailor, son of John Milner and Mary his wife, late of Church Lawford, both deceased, witnessing that John Milner, junior, for £10 to him paid by William Steane of Cosford in the parish of Newbold-on-Avon, yeoman, and of £140 secured to be paid by the said William Steane to John Milner, granted to William Steane three quarters of a yard land or arable land, meadow, pasture ground and commons then lately enclosed in the field of Cosford, theretofore in the tenure of Thomas Steane (father of the said William Steane, deceased) Witnesses: Hugh Owen, John Bull, John Buswell and William Tilyham.
