Deed of sale dated 4 September 1640, by Henry Smith of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., to John Sarson of Tamworth, yeoman, for £35 of a tenement in Stratford in 'the Wood streete, betwene the land of John Walker on the one side and the land of the Lord Cranfeild on the other side.' Signed by Henry Smith with note of seisin on 5 September in the presence of Alexander Hornbe, Thomas Lemster, Humfrey Osbersone, etc.
