Lendon v Heeks

Description

Papers in Chancery case between the Rev. Abel Lendon, (one of the executors of the will (1 October 1827) of Anker Heeks of Whetstone, Middlesex, who died in 1831) and Catheirne Heeks, widow of Anker, the other executor, Robert Heeks of Ashton, Gloucestershire, brother of the testator and various residuary legatees. Testator left to his widow and brother, after payment of debts c., annuities with reversion to each other and to nephews and nieces. Testator's estate is insufficient to cover legacies and annuities in full, but defendants refuse to allow abatement of their annuities
