Description

Quitclaim from Philip son and heir of Roger de Chetewynde knt. to William le Rodye of Warr' of lands, tenements, pastures, feedings together with a certain grove in Baddesleye which the said William held by a gift and feoffment from the said Philip. Also 21 acres of land with woods growing on it in the park of Baddesleye which the said William also held by gift and feoffment of the said Philip; 18 acres lying in length from the road leading from Ketelistyle as far as the gate of the said park called le Abbeywey extending as far as Geggegroue, and in breadth from the ditch of the late Isabel, wife of John de Chetewynde, dropping into the said park towards the manor of Baddesleye, and the other three acres lying beyond Geggegroue towards the waste land extending in length from the lower headland of the said 18 acres as far as the waste land called le Kyngeswode and in breadth from Geggesgroue towards the house of the late John Sutor' as they are defined by their boundaries.
