Description

Gift with warranty from Richard de Dodenhale of Coventr'. smith (ferrarius) to Thomas de Dodenhale servant of Henry de Dodenhale of Coventr' of three messuages and one rood of land in Coventr', of which one messuage lies in Le Hyre[mon]gre Rowe between the tenement of John de Hulle and tenement belonging to the chapel called le Deneschapel in breadth, and extending in length from Queen's Street (Regia Strata) as far as the tenement of Henry Busseby; and one messuage lies in le Coulane between the tenement formerly belonging to William de Walis and tenement of Walter de Stoke in breadth, and extending in length from the highway to the tenement of John le Chaloner; and one other messuage lies in `vico parci minoris' [Little Park Street] between the tenement of John le Chaloner and tenement of Agnes Vityng' in breadth, and extending in length from the highway to the ditch of the Park of Cheylesmor; and the rood of land lies in the newly enclosed park of Cheylesmor which is called Le Quenestrete and next to the land of Thomas le Chaloner; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee.
