18 October 1667 to 20 July 1782 Abstract of title to the Manor of Welcombe and an estate in the parish of Old Stratford, commencing with an indenture, dated 18 October 1667, between Sir Thomas Stephens, knight, and Dame Katherine his wife (one of the daughters and co-heirs of William Combe, esq., deceased) Thomas Stephens, esq., their son and heir, John Rouse, esq., and Mary his wife (another of the daughters and co-heirs of William Combe) and Sir Combe Wagstaff, knight, son and heir of the said Mary Rouse of the first part, Thomas Rawkins, gent., and Samuel Rawkins, gent., of the second part, William Combe, esq. (one of the sons of Thomas Combe, esq., deceased) John Combe (brother of the said William Combe), Francis Boughton, gent., (nephew and heir of William Broughton, gent., deceased) George Willis, gent. (one of the executors of the said Thomas Combe) and Henry Smith, gent., and Thomas Creme, gent. (two other of the executors of the said Thomas Combe) of the third part, and Richard Swanne and John Wolmer, the elder, gent., of the fourth part, and ending with a conveyance, dated 20 July 1782 from William Eaves, executor of Henry Turbitt, late of Luddington, gent., deceased, to John Preston, surgeon and William Lord, wheelwright, both of Stratford-upon-Avon, two other of the executors of Henry Turbitt. Four duplicate copies of 14 folios each and another copy containing some additional deeds from 9 October 1634 to 21 December 1786.
