Description

Lease with warranty from Joylinus de Stivechale to Gilian widow of Robert le Wodeward of 5 1/2 acres of land in the fields of Stivechale with appurtenances; namely, 2 acres in Hallefeld between the land of Lady Alice de Langeleye and the land of Ralph de Stretton'; half an acre at Geffreyeshorchard between land of the said Alice de Langel' and the land of Adam Russel; half an acre upon Parcfurlong beyond le Sti between the land of the said Alice and the land which belonged to John de Barewe; half an acre upon le Parcfurlong beyond le Sti between the land of the said Alice and the land of Robert Moys; half an acre at Hethmulne extending into `ye Heye' next to the land of Adam de Weston'; half an acre upon Ruyecroft between the land of the said Alice and the land of John le Heyr; half an acre against the garden of the grantor extending into Meredenesiche with the adjacent headlands at both ends between the land of the grantor and the land of Ralph de Stretton'; to hold of the said Joylinus from Michaelmas 20 Edward son of Henry [1292] for 20 years, rendering annually one penny at Easter; and should the said Joylinus wish to sell the said land or any part of it during the said term, then the said Gilian shall have first choice of the same, the price being reduced by 2 shillings; and for this Gilian gives 33 shillings.
