Description

Gift with warranty from William Pykerel of Styvechale, chaplain, to Robert de Barewe, William Reod and Robert le Palmere of Styvechale of a messuage with curtilage and appurtenances and one and a half acres of arable land in Styvechale; which messuage lies between the tenement of the Bishop of Coventr' and Lich' and the tenement of Sir William de Careswell', knight; half an acre of land lies on le Ruyecroft' between the land of Sir William de Careswell', knight, and the land of John Huwet; half an acre upon Cassewalle-forlong' between the land of the parson of the church of Bathekynton' and the land of Thomas le Bayllif'; and half an acre `in to'Wodecowslade between land once belonging to Geoffrey de Whiteleye and the land of Thomas le Baylyf'; to hold the same for ever rendering annually to the guardians and custodians of the chapel of St. James of Styvechale to maintain the fabric and roof of the same, 12 pence annually at Michaelmas, and rendering due and customary service to the chief lord.
