Fillongley deeds and papers, a note of fine

Description

Copy (?) of a note of fine to Edward Holbeche, Barnaby Holbeche, William Holbeche, son of the said Barnaby, William Holbeche and Francis Holbeche, son of the said William to hold to the covenant made with Arthur Gregory, esq. and his son Arthur Gregory over the manor of Old Fylongley, as contained in the final concord, i.e. the said Edward, Barnaby, William, William and Francis recognized the said manor to be the right of the said Arthur and Arthur as by their gift.

Notes along the bottom, most of which have been torn away.

On folio 2 is a similar note to Mark Crowe to hold to the covenant made with Arthur Gregory over a toft, orchard, 4 acres of land, 6 acres of pasture, 40 acres of heath, and 16 shillings rent in Allespath, as contained in the final concord, i.e. that the said Mark recognized the said property to be the right of the said Arthur as by his gift.
