Memoranda of complaints by Richard Archer, esquire: 1 That 'my lordes' officers have received 25s in respect of the fourth part of a knight's fee in Tanworth and that afterwards for the same lands they have received 80 marks from his bailiff and tenants. 2 For past 7 years my lordes officers have received 20s p.a. for a field of my lord's demesne called Bykerscote, which Symon Grove, my lord's carpenter now holds for same rent although Archer's father had 80 year lease of same. 3 There has been a dispute between Archer Thomas Waring in 'my lordes hands and his worthy councell' awaiting settlement, by delay of which Archer has lost chief rents to yearly value of 24s in Monkspath
