Counterpart of indenture of assignment between Sir Henry Ranesford of Clifford Chamberer, co. Gloucs., Knight, administrator of the goods of Sir Henry Rainesford, Knight deceased, and Sir ffrauncis Nethersole of Nethersole, co. Kent, Knight, reciting that John Goodere of Polsworth, co. Warwick, esquire, deceased, late sone and heir of Sir Henry Goodere of Polsworth Knight also deceased, by statute staple taken and sealed before Sir Henry Mountagu Knight then Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Kings Bench, acknowledges himself to owe to Sir Henry Rainsford deceased the sum of £5000 payable at a day long since past; by the present indenture [Sir] Henry Rainsford assigned to Sir ffrancis Nethersole the said statute staple and sum of £5000, and appointed him his true and lawful attorney for the purpose of recovering the debt.
