Assignment by James Rudge, S/A, yeoman and Charles Inns, with the consent of the Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Stratford to Charles Frederick Loggin, S/A, chemist and druggist, for of mortgage on leasehold premises being 2 houses, warehouse, shop and premises in Ely Street [nos.47-8]. Recitals (1) 6 Feb 1834 Lease for 99 years from Corporation to John Inns, S/A, painter, of 3 cottages in Ely Street (2) Demolition of 3 cottages and erection of 2 new messuages warehouse and shop on the side. (3) 1 Nov 1836 Mortgage by John Inns to Samuel Meads, S/A, journeyman maltster for £230 and interest. (4) 22 Apr 1848 Death of Samuel Meads leaving Joseph William Tovey and William Tovey the younger, his executors, £180 remaining due. (5) 17 Nov 1848 Assignment of mortgage to James Rudge. (6) 18 Jul 1849 Death of John Inns, who by his will dated 28 June 1849 bequeathed premises to his son the said Charles Inns.
