Papers in case Sir William Bromley, KB and John Ferrers, esq. v. Thomas Archer, esquire, concerning the wills of Sir Simon and Ann Archer. Answer of Thomas Archer, esquire to Bill of Complaint of Sir William Bromley, KB John Ferrers, esq. Believes that the marriage settlement of Sir Simon Archer and Dame Anne (nee Ferrers), his parents, allowed her £80pa at her own disposal. Archer agreed £900 to be spent on land in trusteeship John Ferrers Philip Younge, esq., who bought lands in Salop. Simon Archer secured lands in Tanworth to Ferrers and Edward Peyto (since decd) to value £1000, of which interest to be paid to use Anne Archer or whom she should appoint 15 June 1661 Archer granted goods and plate to Ferrers to dispose to Anne or agents By her will Anne Archer disposed of lands goods and premises which after her death, in case there should be any difficulty over her will, Andrew Archer entered into Articles of Agreement with Ferrers. Thomas Archer is executor of father's will
