Description

Attested copy bargain and sale from Richard Gresley esq. and Thomas Tidmas and George Cattell Greenway gentlemen, commissioners in the bankruptcy of Francis Burdon and Thomas Burdon of Henley-in-Arden drapers, dealers, chapmen and copartners, to John Cartwright of Warwick wholesale draper and Samuel Lomas Ingle of the same, draper, to whom the bankrupts' personal estate and effects had already been assigned on 23 June 1818, in consideration of 10s., of all the freehold messuages and lands of the same Francis Burdon in trust to sell for the benefit of the creditors. Signed and sealed by the parties in the presence of Wm. Welch Lea. Certified a true copy, 3 December 1818, by Soln. Bray and Edward Browning, clerks to Messrs. Heydon and Parkes, solrs., Warwick. Endorsed as having been inrolled in the High Court of Chancery, 5 August 1818. Endorsed: See Conveyance to the uses of the Will of Earl Catherlough, 13 August 1822. [Purchase No. 25]
