24 January 1851 Probate of the will (30 March 1849) of Richard Terrett, Stratford-upon-Avon, yeoman, bequeathing real estate to trustees (his brother-in-law, Benjamin Ward, Leamington Priors, coachman and Joseph Holtom, Stratford-upon-Avon, carpenter) in trust for wife Elizabeth for life and then to sell and pay: - £50 each to Charles Ward and Mary Ward, children of Benjamin £50 each. - 1/4 residue to brother Samuel Terrett or his children. - 1/4 residue to sister Mary, wife of William Brown or her children. - 1/2 residue to brothers and sisters of testator's wife Elizabeth (except Lydia wife of James Harvey and her issue). Personal estate to wife absolutely. With executorial papers, correspondence etc., 1869-1873, including family of Richard Terrett, pedigree of the Ward family, c.1800-1865, with various copy certificates and notes on Holtom family.
