Lease and release between Edward Johnson, Chipping Campden, Glos., mercer and Mary his wife of the first part, Robert Johnson, Birmingham, sadler and Thomas Durham, Combe, Glos., gent. of the second part, Samuel Mence, son and heir apparent of Benjamin Mence, Worcester, glover and Mary Johnson, sole daughter and heir of said Edward of the third part, and Benjamin Mence of the fourt part. Reciting intended marriage between Samuel and Mary and Settlement upon them by Benjamin of messuage in High Street, Worcester, together with his business and stock in trade worth £500, together with £200 in hand. Therefore in consideration of above, Edward and Mary convey to Johnson and Durham as Trustees. 1 Messuage, 3 closes and two 1/4 yard lands in Bishopton in the occupation of Simon Horne, 2 Messuage in Bishopton formerly in the occupation of Francis Ainge and two 1/4 yard lands appurtenant. In trust after marriage to use of Samuel and Mary for their several lives with remainder to their heirs of the body or in default the heirs of Mary.
