Archer of Tanworth

Description

Conveyance by lease and release (release missing) from Other Archer, Earl of Plymouth, Henry Howard of Corby Castle, William Pitt Lord Amberst and Sarah his wife, Edward Bolton Clive and Christopher Musgrave and Anne Elizabeth his wife, to William Rider of Lincolns Inn, gentleman, of the estates of the late Andrew Lord Archer divided into three lots; viz. Lot A, the manors of Tanworth, Umberslade, Monkspath and Codborough and lands in Umberslade, Tanworth, Nuthurst, Ullenhall and Beaudesert; Lot B, the manor of Solihull and lands in Solihull and Tanworth; and Lot C, the manors of Claverdon, Birmingham and Henley-in-Arden, and lands in Claverdon, Rowington, Tanworth, Solihull, Aston Cantlow, Clifford Chambers, Packwood, Henley-in-Arden and Beaudesert and Alvechurch, co. Worcs. NB: the allotments must evidently have been altered, as Lot C went to Christopher Musgrave (cf. no. 34).
