Description

Settlement on the marriage of Constance Welchman, daughter of Mary Welchman of Coleshill (widow of the late Edward Welchman) to the Reverend William Welchman of Barton, co. Oxon., being a conveyance by lease and release from the said Mary Welchman to Thomas Welchman of Solihull, mercer (as trustee) of a moiety of a messuage and lands in Tanworth in the tenure of Robert Cranmore; to hold in trust for the use of William Welchman for life, then for the use of his intended wife, Constance Welchman, for life, and then for the use of their sons in tail male; the land being granted by Mary Welchman in lieu of a legacy left to Constance by her father.
