Conveyance by lease and release (lease missing) from Thomas Vyner of Ethorpe, esquire, heir of Sir Robert Vyner, Bart., Alderman of the city of London, to Sir Arthur Shaen, Bart., of Middle Temple, eldest son and heir of Sir James Shaen, Bart., late of Inner Temple, for £1,000 of castles, manors, lordships, lands, tenements, towns and townlands in Cloghrogan, co. Catherlough, and a castle, town and lands in Kildalkin, previously belonging to the Earl of Kildare, and the lands of the said Earl in the town of Kells and in co. Meath; two tenements in Drogheda and a castle, town and lands in Dongooly, Ballybyne, Roskenaugh and Priorstown and all other lands belonging to the said Earl in the county of Louth and the town of Drogheda, the towns and townlands of Killimure and Ballineclough and in co. Westmeath and in the King's county; with all courts and perquisites. Reciting a conveyance by lease and release, 25 and 26 May, 1660, from Wentworth, Earl of Kildare, with the consent of John, Earl of Clare, and Robert Boyle, esquire, brother of Richard, Earl of Cork, to Arthur Annesley, esquire, son and heir of Viscount Valentia, Sir Thomas Vyner, Alderman of the city of London, William Smithers and the said Sir Robert Vyner, goldsmith, acting on the instruction of the said Sir James Shaen for £1,000 of the said property to be held in trust for the said Arthur Shaen.
