Conveyance from Francis Child of Great Harborough, gentleman, Margaret his wife, John Child, citizen and mercer of London, and Bridget his wife to Thomas Clerke, citizen and grocer of London, for £220 of a close called Cobwell Close, previously divided into 2 closes, consisting of 34 acres, and lands adjoining Cobwell Close and now severed from it by a hedge, with woods, which property lies in Ethrope with the land of Thomas Rofe, gentleman, lying to the south and the land of John Griffin lying to the north and was late in the tenure of Isabel Lapworth, having been purchased of Thomas Rofe by Henry Lapworth and which after his death descended to the said Margaret and Bridget.
