Description

Gift with warranty from Ranulph son of John Walter of Stivechale to Geoffrey le Lef of Coventre of an acre of land in the fields of Stivechale with appurtenances; namely, half an acre upon Heuedmulnefurlong between the land of Joylinus and the land of John de Barwe; and half an acre next Le Sidegard with an adjacent headland, lying between the land of John de Langeleye and the land which Robert son of Hugh Prest held, and extending as far as Carsewellemedwe; to hold of the said Ranulph rendering annually one [rose] at the feast of St. John the Baptist; and for this the said Geoffrey gives 20 shillings. Witnesses: Ralph de Wytele, Adam de Okes of the same, Adam Mile of the same, John de Barwe of Stivechale, Joylinus of the same, Robert le Wodeward of the same, Alexander le Wodeward of the same, Ranulph son of Hugh and others.
