Description

Lease from Humphrey Ferrers of Tamworth', esq., to William Neyle of Coventrye, surgeon, of his manor of Stychall' in Stychall' with all the chief rents in Coventrye, Bagynyton' and Allespathe, except two mills with their appurtenances called Heith myll' and Pegg' myll'; to hold the same from Michaelmas next for a term of 21 years, rendering annually £10. 9s. 5d. (2 terms); and the said William is to maintain the said property during the said term at his own expense; and the said William to be allowed 18 shillings from the annual rent for the gathering of the rents due from the said mills; and he is to provide when necessary two men sufficiently furnished for war, and the said William shall wear no other livery save the said Humphrey's.
