Description

Gift, with warranty, from Agnes Partrych' of Sowe, widow, to Thomas Dyscher of Coventr', butcher, of half a messuage with half a croft adjacent and with five acres of land in the vill and fields of Sowe, which she holds by hereditary right after the death of her father and after the partition of his lands between her and her sister; and the half a messuage and half a croft lie in the said vill between a tenement of the prior of Coventr', which John Onbem holds of the said prior, and the land of the said Thomas lately bought of Thomas Haloughton' in width, and in length reaching from the King's way there to the land of the said prior and convent, which Christiana Basset now holds, with free access and exit to and from that part of the town and field; and the five acres lie in the fields there, of which half an acre lies at the head of the vill between the land of Henry Wolff and land of the said convent which John Perk now holds; another half an acre lies in the same field upon Seberfurlong, between land of the said convent which William Balle now holds and land of the said convent which John Onbem now holds, with two swathes of meadow belonging to the same; another half an acre lies upon Lytulhull' between land of the said convent which William Meton' holds and the land of the said convent which Henry Dawe holds, with half an acre of meadow, viz., four swaythes -------- acre lies on Assthehull' between land of the said convent which William Balle holds, and land of the said [convent which John] Onbem holds; a rod of meadow in Lodemor' between land of the said convent which William Balle holds and land of the said convent which John Onbem holds; one butt of land on Blakegrenes between land of William Ball' and land of John Onbem, with the meadow pertaining; half an acre on Nethurgrene in Rylondd' between lands of the said William and John, with the meadow adjoining; half an acre called Schildhalfeagre on le Wodecrofft between the lands of the said William and John; half an acre on Brodmedwe between the lands of the said William and John with the meadow adjoining; half an acre on Sparrowsull' next Lowsgrene between land of Henry Dawe and land of John Wymnere; half an acre on Fennyhamne with meadow adjoining between land of William Balle and land of John Onbem; and half an acre on Ryelondd' between the land of William Balle and the land of John Wynnemer'; to hold of the chief lord of the fee.
