Kingshill in Stoneleigh deeds and papers

Description

Confirmation from William de Aston', Abbot of Stonleye to Thomas son of William de Hulle of Coventr' of land which the latter holds of the said abbot, viz. three messuages, one garden, fifty-nine and a half acres of land with appurtenances in Hulle in the manor of Stonleye, of which one messuage lies between the land called Stanylond and land which Richard Severe holds of the Abbot and Convent, another messuage lies between the tenement of Richard Malin and the tenement which Richard Severe holds of the said Abbot and Convent, and another messuage lies between the tenement of William de Stokton' and the tenement of Nicholas Saundres and the said garden lies between the tenement of Nicholas Saundres and the Highway; to hold the same of the said abbot, rendering annually 4s. 11 1/2 d., and suit at the two great courts of the said abbot. Dated at Stonl', Monday after the feast of St. Dunstan, 41 Edward III. Tag, seal missing. Endorsed: i) relaxao servisii W.
