Description

Declaration by the commissioners for the inclosure of Stonleigh of the boundary between the parishes of Stonleigh and Stivichall; from the north east corner of Shoulder of Mutton Close in the tenure of Thomas Parks, along part of the northwest and southwest boundaries of Stivichall Common, across the Coventry to Warwick turnpike at Burnt Post to a boundary stone at the north end of Green Lane; thence in a straight line to another boundary stone near the west corner Quarry Close in the tenure of Francis Gregory, esq. thence to a boundary stone near a hovel belonging to the said Francis Gregory, with the north hedge of Quarry Close about one pole to the south; thence through an old farm yard to a boundary stone near a garden belonging to William Worth, and then proceeding between lands of the said Francis Gregory,in Stonleigh called Home Close, Broom Close and Horse Meadow, and in Stivichall called Spinney Meadow, Barley Close, Great Ground, to a ditch called Martin Gutter which crosses the Coventry to Stonleigh road and then the Stonleigh to Baginton road and thence into the River Sow.
