Description

Grant by Robert Slygh of Couentre, `bocher' to Nicholas Assheburne of the same, mercer, of a curtilage and 3 parcels of meadow in Pakwode, which curtilage lies between Chichamstede and the way leading to the house of John Couper, one parcel of meadow lies between the meadow of the said John Couper and `Mykulbrook', another lies in breadth from the old curtilage of the said John Couper towards Mykulbrook, and the third lies alongside of it, all which he held, with Alice his wife, daughter of Henry Grimley of Couentre and Matilda his wife, of the gift and feoffment of the said Henry and Matilda.

Witnesses: John Milwarde of Pakwode, John Groue, John Itchmenere, and Roger Mulwarde, all of the same, and others.
