`A note of such conveyances as were made uppon the marryage of Mr. Thomas Leigh and Mrs. Marye Egerton'. An abstract of six deeds as follows: - 30 October 1610: assignment from Robert Lord Spencer, Thomas Leigh, Thomas Spencer and Francis Roberts to Sir John Egerton Sir Francis Leigh, Thomas Marbury and Arthur Maynwaring (to hold in trust) of the leases of the manor and advowson of Leighton Buzzard, co. Beds. - 20 October 1610: agreement by Sir Thomas Leigh and Dame Katherine his wife to levy a fine of all their Staffordshire estates in favour of Sir John Egerton and Sir Francis Leigh. - 30 October 1610: lease from Sir Thomas Leigh and Dame Katherine his wife to Sir John Egerton, Sir Francis Leigh, Thomas Marbury and Arthur Maynwaring (to hold in trust) of the mansion house etc. of Hamstall Ridware. - 30 October 1610: articles of agreement between Sir Thomas Leigh and Sir John Egerton, mentioning the manor house of Hamstall Ridware and the manor of Fletchamstead. (DR 18/13/1/9). - --- 1610: assignment from Sir Thomas Leigh to Thomas Spencer and Thomas Chamberlayne, of the lease of the manor of Fletchamstead (DR 18/10/58/11). - 30 October 1610: release from Sir Thomas Leigh to Thomas Leigh from a proviso in a settlement of 1 October 1599.
