Settlement by John Fetherston of Packwood, esq. on Thomas his son and heir apparent, confirming to him a messuage etc. in Bewsall in the parish of Hatton and a close in Haseley with closes called Newland, Queens Croft, Haymeadowe Gate, and Priors Land in the same place in the occupation of Rice Brooke, a messuage in Bewsall called Browns lye land sometime William Withefords, a close called Woolles Piece in the occupation of William Wallford and the messuage of Nicholas Kinge with Cockshutt field, with a cottage and 2 closes of Thomas Reignolds, closes in Hunnely known as Fetherstons Teeme land, Withefords Teeme Land and Moor Land, coppices and a close called Stiffes Cose in the occupation of William White, etc. Signed and sealed by the grantor. Dated 10 December 1654. Seal, a fragment of red wax. Witnesses: Richard Woodward, Rice Brooke, Roger Brokes, William White, --- Kinge, senior, --- Marke, Nicholas? King.
