Description

Copy [Extract from] 'An Act for enabling Sr Wm Juxon, knight and baronet, executor of last will and testament of William Juxon, late Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, to recover part of his estate' in re inter alia bonds of Thomas Lord Leigh to John Pory, Treasurer to the Archbishop, to secure payments of £3000 and £1500. Pory has absconded with the bonds and other financial securities. Act authorizes Sir William to act as if bonds etc. entered to him and to receive sums due and issue discharge for same.
