Robert Carter, London, to Sir Thomas Leigh, Stoneleigh: brother [in law] Tost and son have died of plague but writer, wife and household are well at present. Has received £300 in total, leaving £650 still due but has left affairs so that if he should die, the lands will be assured to Sir Thomas as per agreement or Sir Thomas may have his money repaid; asks for Sir Thomas's kindness towards his 2 sisters in Stoneleigh.
