Chandos Leigh, Stoneleigh to Thomas Hill Mortimer, Albany: Cannot reply immediately as needs some deliberation and "my house is now full for the Races". Thinks £1500 may be offered [? to Miss Rhodes] but does not want it "getting into the newspapers" better to pay more.
